Maui Interfaith Weddings

Maui is a spectacular place to celebrate an interfaith wedding. Along with the astounding beauty, it is an island that embraces cultural diversity.

Some people know exactly how they want their wedding ceremony to look and for others the vision may be a little foggy. I will listen deeply to learn what is important to you and help you craft a ceremony that honors all your traditions.

As a kid, I always asked the question, “Why do people believe what they believe?” This led me to years of study and research as a cultural anthropologist where I gained great insight and appreciation of many cultures in the world. I understand culture to be is a lens through which perceive the world. My family heritage gave me a Jewish lens and my studies, travels and life experience opened my horizons. While my personal practice is based in Jewish tradition, I celebrate and support interfaith connections. Before moving to Maui in 2017, I served for many years as a Spiritual Leader and Officiant in the San Francisco Bay. During this time, I guided interfaith couples and families to create ceremonies that were powerful and profound. My intention is to do the same for you.

While I am an ordained rabbi, I also have an ordination through the ULC, a non- denominational organization open to people of all faiths. This gives me the legal authority to perform non-sectarian wedding ceremonies as well as the flexibility to work together to create a wedding that not only meets your needs but fulfills your dreams.
